Victorian Staffordshire figure, this is a rare figure of Prince Alfred, dressed in naval uniform, stood leaning on a capstan with his hat in his left hand. c.1858 8 1/2" high Alfred Ernest Albert, Duke of Edinburgh (1844-1900) 2nd son of Queen Victoria, received his first commission in the Royal Navy in 1858 Very good condition - Overall crazing, paint flake to hair and a small chip on edge of hat.
